On Sunday the reenactors staged a battle on part of the actual ground where the battle was fought. This ground had recently been purchased and preservation had begun. They were also shooting movie footage so a bit of posing took place but made for some good photos. The directer of the Camden Historic grounds (nine miles back in Camden) tried to tell me and a few other onlookers present, where we couldn't be even though we were standing on a public road right of way.
